Among her many volunteer involvements, Ann has especially enjoyed hosting international exchange students, volunteering with Days For Girls, working with Scouts, and supporting immigrant families. She hopes to be welcoming an Afghan family soon.


Personal Life
Born in Norfolk, VA, Ann has lived in New Hope for 50 years. She is a former English and Humanities teacher at Armstrong High School and a retired Certified Public Accountant.
Ann is mother to Susan, an online educator who along with her husband, Jim, and two children, Kaye and Jonas, live in Woodbury. Ann's passion for public service is rooted in her deep commitment to family as well as her progressive Christian faith. She is a member of Spirit of Hope United Methodist Church in Golden Valley.
Ann is a HUGE Twins fan and avid gardener who does strength training, loves to travel, reads history, and enjoys the antics of Tutti, her Westie.
