Ann believes Minnesotans deserve to be safe in their community and law enforcement officers deserve respect.

 

Ann supports:

• Legislation passed in 2023 and improved in 2024 legalizing and regulating cannabis for recreational use and the expungement of criminal records for those with non-violent cannabis possession convictions.

• Expanding educational programs for incarcerated Minnesotans.

• Passage of strong, sensible gun laws to reduce gun violence.

• Increased state investment in community violence prevention programs.

​​

• Support for Community Service Officers legislation passed in 2024.
